I usually define these as under 50 guests, but this isn’t a hard number. I’ve shot weddings that have a “small feel” that have over 100 guests. If your guest list is substantially larger than 50, I invite you to contact me. I can let you know if I think I’ll be a good fit for you!
Yes. I am committed to anti-oppression in my dealings with all my clients, from all orientations and identifications and am comfortable shooting queerness in all its forms.
Absolutely, and I am committed to creating a safe photographic experience for you and your loved one(s).
I am based in Alberta! Local to Edmonton, but open to travel.
Not at all! They can, and I’ll guide you the whole way up, but elopements don’t have to include hiking. Think car accessible spots, helicopter rides to your view, a relaxed day at a remote cabin - there are so many options!
Absolutely! You can include pets, family, and friends in your elopement. Because of the nature of elopements being outdoors and often more adventurous, I recommend keeping your guest count to under 10. If we work together on your elopement, you will receive a massive elopement guide as a resource. Read more about how you can include your loved ones in your elopement (both in person and from afar!)
Elopements can look like just the two of you sharing your commitment to each other, or they can include a small group of family and friends for all or part of your wedding experience. A few things that separate elopements from weddings are the intimacy and experience involved. Elopements are typically very small (under 10 guests) and sometimes they happen with less planning involved. Please contact me to inquire about my availability!
Many different kinds! I offer mini urban elopements, half-days (4 hours), full-day (8 hours), and overnight multi-day backcountry adventures. Please contact me to chat more about my elopement packages.
Please reach out if you have a question about something not on my website! In addition to elopements, weddings, and adventure sessions, I also photograph vow renewals, couples sessions and boudoir.
Not at all! Quite often small weddings are in an urban setting, with backyards or local cafes/restaurants being popular locations.
An Adventure Session is a session where we head out into nature and take photos together. These encompass anything from drive up locations in the mountains, to full days spent hiking together with me along capturing it all. Adventure sessions are great for celebrating anniversaries, engagements, or simply, your love of adventure.
I offer 3 options for these types of sessions:
Drive up locations, Half-day hikes, Full-day hikes
Get in touch to see what session would be the right fit for you! And, if you like, read about why you should add an Adventure Session onto your wedding!
Absolutely! Throughout our time together we’ll chat, laugh, and wander around exploring together. Trust me when I say that it will feel like a relaxed hang and you’ll eventually forget I’m even there!
