How do I elope & other questions
Elopements can look like just the two of you sharing your commitment to each other, or they can include a small group of family and friends for all or part of your wedding experience. A few things that separate elopements from weddings are the intimacy and focus on your experience together as a couple!

Absolutely! I'm very committed to creating a safe photographic experience for you and your loved one(s). I believe all love should be celebrated and welcome all orientations and identifications.

I travel to Jasper, Banff, & Canmore most often. However, I photograph couples all over Alberta - I'm here to capture your Alberta elopement, wherever it may be!
What is aN “elopement”?

You don't have to hike to elope in Alberta! Quite often I photograph elopements that are at car accessible locations (think gorgeous lakes or view points, at a cabin, etc.), feature a helicopter ride to a view, or we take a gondola up a mountain! For urban elopements, backyards and local restaurants are popular locations!

What kind of elopement packages do you offer?

Do you provide a marriage commissioner?

I include a complimentary marriage commissioner in most of my Alberta elopement packages! This lets us get you married in remote places where your average marriage commissioner wouldn't travel to!
Can we include loved ones in our elopement?

Absolutely! You can include pets, family, and friends in your elopement. Because of the nature of elopements being outdoors and often more adventurous, I recommend keeping your guest count to under 10. If we work together on your elopement, you will receive a massive elopement guide as a resource. Read more about how you can include your loved ones in your elopement (both in person and from afar!)
Not at all! We can discuss a date that would work best on our initial chat, but you absolutely don't need to have everything planned out! In addition to photography, I've created a huge resource planning guide for my eloping couples to help walk you through dreaming up your best day! Not only that, but I help with location research/recommendations and can help you sort out the details after we're booked in!
I have a wide range of Alberta elopement packages! I offer urban elopements, half-days (4 hours), full-day (6, 8 hours), & custom multi-day backcountry adventures. I also offer an all-inclusive elopement package that includes hair & makeup, florals, & an officiant (in addition to photography!!!) Yes! I would LOVE to help you plan your Alberta elopement and often work with couples travelling to Canada for the first time! I'd also be happy to help walk you through the process and requirements!

Nope! Not only would this be terribly uncomfortable, but it's also unsafe - we don't want anyone tripping! Depending on your location, we'll discuss the best way to get you all ready for your elopement!

Never! Your elopement is your wedding day! We craft an experience together that puts you and your enjoyment first! This isn't just photos - I am a big believer in your elopement day reflecting your relationship, your personalities, and things you love to do together. As your photographer, I'm here to capture the entire story of your day - not just "formal" portraits!

Absolutely! Throughout our time together we’ll chat, laugh, and wander around exploring together. Trust me when I say that it will feel like a relaxed hang and you’ll eventually forget I’m even there! Feeling like yourselves? Sweet, I’ll take a step back and capture you as you are. Feeling a little unsure of what to do? I’ll gently guide you all while drawing on your natural isms and connection.
